Days Out from Cross Hall Farm – Some Suggestions
In this section we\’ll gradually accumulate suggestions for days out by car. Cross Hall Farm and the Howgills are neatly sandwiched between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Then when you\’re not out walking over the Howgills or other nearby fells there is easy access by road to a wide variety of other areas. The Eden Valley, Lancaster, Morecambe Bay, The Furness Peninsula, Teesdale and the North Pennines are just some examples.
